Testing Services

Forward Biotechnologies runs analytical, microbiological, and physical testing for biotech companies, medical device developers, laboratories, and researchers who need a testing partner rather than another in-house department. Whether you need one test run or an ongoing testing relationship, our team can scope it with you before you commit to anything.

Testing Capabilities

Gas Chromatography

We run gas chromatography (GC) testing to identify and quantify volatile and semi-volatile compounds in your sample. Commonly used for residual solvent analysis, purity checks, and composition verification.

Bioburden Testing

Bioburden testing measures the total number of viable microorganisms on or in a product, component, or raw material before sterilization. A standard step for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers validating a sterilization process.

Endotoxin Testing

Endotoxin testing detects bacterial endotoxins that can trigger a pyrogenic response — relevant for any product intended for parenteral use or contact with the bloodstream.

TGA measures weight change in a material as it’s heated, useful for characterizing composition, thermal stability, and decomposition behavior.

Measures how a sample absorbs or transmits light across the ultraviolet and visible range — used for concentration determination, purity checks, and material identification.

We quantify and identify bacterial populations in a sample, supporting quality control, contamination investigations, and raw material qualification.

Measures a fluid’s resistance to flow, relevant for formulation work, quality control, and process troubleshooting.

Evaluates mechanical performance — tension, compression, and related properties — for components, packaging, and finished products.

Standard pH testing for solutions, raw materials, and in-process samples.

Measures a solution’s ability to conduct electrical current, often used as a quick check on purity or concentration.

Supports material and product evaluation where corrosion behavior, coating performance, or electrochemical properties matter.
